Poetry Archive entry goes live
I'm delighted to say that I'm now featured on the Poetry Archive as a poet as well as being involved behind the scenes as an editor. You can hear me reading poems from my first two collections, plus new work for free on the site. And if you like what you hear you can order the full CD.

Mslexia competition success
I was delighted that my poem 'Garbo Among Us' was awarded third prize in the 2010 Mslexia poetry competition. Another poem, 'Short-hold' was a runner up. It meant a lot as the competition was judged by Vicki Feaver, one of my early and continuing inspirations. I've never had great expectations as regards competitions - I tend to think my poems are too short and too introverted to get picked up - so it goes to show you can't always pre-judge these things.
